ORGANIZERS' NETWORK HELPS AFFLICTED FAMILY RING IN NEW YEAR CLUTTER FREE
Professional organizers to give free home makeover in honor of National Get Organized Month this January
Orange County, Calif., December 9, 2005 - The Organizers' Network of Orange County (ONOC) will give the gift of an organized home to the Spalding family the week of January 23rd in honor of National Get Organized Month.
The Spaldings, chosen from anonymous applications submitted by members of Wishland's "Kid's Club," will receive organizing services from members of ONOC and home furnishings and organizing products from area businesses. The Spaldings are thrilled to be receiving outside help putting their home in order following the ordeal of seven-year-old Tyler's battle with leukemia.
The Spaldings
ONOC members will overhaul the Spaldings' garage, family room, kitchen and bedrooms. A new, custom desk and custom cabinetry are being donated by Mike Weiermiller, of Closet and Storage Concepts.
Says matriarch Jennifer Spalding, "Tyler, age 7, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in January 2004. We immediately went from a two-income family to a single income in a matter of minutes; I could not bear to leave him alone. We were invited to join Wishland Kid's Club early last year... I highly recommend their charity to not only those families that have had a child touched with a life threatening illness but to companies/organizations like (ONOC) for their generous support."
Participating organizers are all members of the National Association of Professional Organizers and the Organizers' Network of Orange County.

ABOUT WISHLAND
Wishland is a place for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. It's where they come to have a joyful, stress-free, and memorable experience. Partnering with Wish-Granting Organizations from all over the world, they provide a weeklong, cost-free family vacation to children on their "Wish Trip" to Southern California. Whether their wish is to visit Disneyland, Universal Studios, Sea World, or to meet a celebrity in Hollywood, families stay in one of their 2 bedroom/2 bath suites, just four blocks from Disneyland, and enjoy many activities. Working with hospitals, they provide a special 3 night stay for families that qualify. Wishland also offers the "Kids' Club" for local southern California families that have a child currently battling a life-threatening condition.
ABOUT GET ORGANIZED MONTH
Each January, the National Association of Professional Organizers sponsors a campaign to increase awareness of the professional organizing industry and demonstrate how getting organized can improve lives. Organizing groups and individual organizers around the country are encouraged to "give back" by finding groups or individuals in need of organizing help and donate their time, expertise, labor, and sometimes products.
