Beth – Here’s what I did based on your great advice! I moved my old files – both personal and business - from the current file cabinets to the "storage" file cabinets, went to Staples and bought new file folders and tab inserts and CD holders! I have created 3 "catch-all" folders in front of my closest file drawer - one for receipts, post-its and little notes that I can't do anything about immediately but want to keep, one for current work that I'm doing for clients this week, and one for stuff that needs to be filed but doesn't have a file folder set up yet. |

Yes, it’s true – the computer desk looks great – nice and neat and that’s primarily a result of your suggestion to move all the pesky pieces of papers and sticky notes that I didn’t want to deal with right away into folders inside the file cabinet closest to me – voila! (below) ![]() |

![]() This counter-top is all neat and I actually removed some of the “stuff” from under the desk as well. I’ve also moved the books on the shelf in this photo into the closet which was blocked by the oak shelves before – wow! Look at all this storage space. |

![]() Also bought at Staples CD holders so that I don’t have a bunch of miscellaneous CDs lying around here by the TV – I bought one large one for long-term storage and one that holds 10 CDs to take both and forth to the car – great idea! |
